Blessed

Lots to think about lately... I love Easter. I love that I know I have a Savior who did so much for me. I'm happy to celebrate a beautiful holiday, one that celebrates sacrifice and life and love so completely.

I've had a lot on my mind lately--lots of stress, but sooooo many blessings too. Life with James just keeps getting better and better. He's been such a sweetheart through everything. I'm so happy he's my best friend.

Love you sweets. Thanks for being mine.

Home Videos

I'm the youngest child, so my family doesn't have as many home videos of me as a little tyke as they do of the older kids when they were little. That's just how it is. So imagine my excitement when I had the chance to see never-seen-before home videos of ME when I was little. I was dreaming, but who cares? Last night's dream had me swimming in my grandparents pool, opening Christmas presents, and playing in the snow. I was delighted. I was so cute when I was little.

Then my phone rang to wake me up, right in the middle of it all. Guess it's time to wake up and have breakfast.

Days that make you go HMMmm...

Work was awesome (did I say that?). Why? Because our volunteer ladies are coming back and we had a big ol' kick off meeting for them. The sun was out for a looooong time today. Aaaaaand the grass is getting greener and we have tulips and daffodils starting to bloom. I'm so ready. Shpring is my favorite.

After work I kept the work day going--pruning trees that belong to a friend of a great friend. So fun, right up until the chilly wind started. End said work day.

Dropped off a darling homemade card to the shweetest niece Katie, who turned 4 today. Love that little goofball.

And then...

Rushed home to talk to my boy, shave my legs, eat dinner, and fly to the local rec center for a Zumba class with a couple other Gille girls (all in about 20 minutes).

Instead I dropped my phone in the water, frantically dried it off and finished shaving the leggies, popped a couple of dried mangos in my mouth (aka dinner), made it to the rec center in time to find out that Zumba was a no-go (not on Tuesdays yet), said hello to my Gille sisters, and left the rec center (definition: place where healthy people hang out) to go buy some Hostess donuts (definition: latest lazy guilty pleasure). I'm exhausted after a day like that--so much running around. But it's all good.

Jamesy's latest Boston trip is 1/3 over. By then the donuts will be gone, all evidence destroyed, and we'll be able to spend the weekend snuggling and listening to Conference.

It's a good life I lead.
