Work was awesome (did I say that?). Why? Because our volunteer ladies are coming back and we had a big ol' kick off meeting for them. The sun was out for a looooong time today. Aaaaaand the grass is getting greener and we have tulips and daffodils starting to bloom. I'm so ready. Shpring is my favorite. After work I kept the work day going--pruning trees that belong to a friend of a great friend. So fun, right up until the chilly wind started. End said work day.
Dropped off a darling homemade card to the shweetest niece Katie, who turned 4 today. Love that little goofball.
And then...
Rushed home to talk to my boy, shave my legs, eat dinner, and fly to the local rec center for a Zumba class with a couple other Gille girls (all in about 20 minutes).
Instead I dropped my phone in the water, frantically dried it off and finished shaving the leggies, popped a couple of dried mangos in my mouth (aka dinner), made it to the rec center in time to find out that Zumba was a no-go (not on Tuesdays yet), said hello to my Gille sisters, and left the rec center
(definition: place where healthy people hang out) to go buy some Hostess donuts
(definition: latest lazy guilty pleasure). I'm exhausted after a day like that--so much running around. But it's all good.
Jamesy's latest Boston trip is 1/3 over. By then the donuts will be gone, all evidence destroyed, and we'll be able to spend the weekend snuggling and listening to Conference.
It's a good life I lead.
